Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite featured the aftermath of All In this past Sunday, but there were a few notable names missing. Tony Khan pointed out that some plans had to be changed prior to this show.

This was due to the fact that a large number of wrestlers were sick with minor illnesses this week, as well as Hurricane Idalia’s effect on flights coming out of the south.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the show had been redone at the last minute.

Because of Hurricane Idalia, Meltzer noted that Kenny Omega and other people in Florida weren’t able to attend the event. Due to illness, Swerve Strickland and new AEW Women’s Champion Saraya missed the show.
