AEW WrestleDream Won’t Feature Top NJPW Stars
– ADVERTISMENT –

AEW will hold the WrestleDream pay-per-view event on Sunday, October 1, in Seattle, WA, which is a tribute event to the late, great Antonio Inoki.

The show won’t feature top stars from New Japan Pro Wrestling despite honoring the life and career of NJPW’s founder.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that NJPW has a show at Korakuen Hall on this date with several top names, including Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito, Jeff Cobb, and others advertised for it.

Will Ospreay is currently not booked for it so he could appear at WrestleDream.
