We now have an update on the lawsuit filed by former WWE writer Britney Abrahams against the company, Vince McMahon, and former co-CEO Stephanie McMahon.
Abrahams’ lawsuit against WWE is still ongoing, despite her attempt to dismiss the suit alleging the company discriminated against and retaliated against her for complaints about racist scripts involving wrestlers like Bianca Belair, Apollo Crews, and Mansoor. She filed for the dismissal earlier this month.
However, the dismissal is not against all parties as WWE is still very much a defendant in the lawsuit and Abrahams’s motion to dismiss was specifically against the other parties including Vince and Stephanie McMahon.
WWE and Abrahams filed a joint motion on August 25 requesting the Honorable Court to extend WWE’s due date to respond to the lawsuit. WWE must respond before November 3.
