The backstage incident involving CM Punk and Jack Perry at AEW All In 2023 has generated significant attention.
Reports on the altercation are conflicting, with differing accounts of the sequence of events and the instigator. Some sources suggest that Perry initiated the conflict by attempting to strike Punk, while others indicate that CM Punk initiated it with a physical gesture towards Perry.
Irrespective of the specifics, it’s noted that Perry was sent home following the incident, whereas Punk remained present at the event.
On a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, it was highlighted that Punk took security assistance to reach his locker room after his match with Samoa Joe, which occurred after the altercation.
According to a report from Bryan Alvarez, Perry was subsequently escorted out of the venue. Following the incident, CM Punk remained in his locker room for an unspecified duration until security personnel arrived to escort him out as well.
