The Overnight Ratings For This Week’s Episode Of WWE SmackDown

SpoilerTV has released the preliminary overnight figures for Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

Friday night’s show saw some last-minute changes as SmackDown shifted to focusing on paying tribute to the late Terry Funk and Bray Wyatt, who tragically passed away on Thursday.

The Overnight Ratings For This Week’s Episode Of WWE SmackDown

WWE SmackDown averaged 2.505 million viewers for both hours. The preliminary viewership increased from last week’s show, which drew 2.233 million viewers. The final viewership for the August 18th show was 2.094 million viewers.

WWE SmackDown drew an overnight rating of 0.71 in the key P18-49 key demo, up from the 0.53 preliminary rating for last week’s show. The final rating in the key demo for the previous show was 0.55.

WWE SmackDown ranked #1 in ratings for primetime broadcast programming on Friday night. NFL topped the viewership for the night with 3.697 million viewers.

The final ratings for WWE SmackDown will be out on Monday.
