Backstage Notes For The Latest Edition Of WWE SmackDown

Fightful Select has shared additional backstage details on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown.

The report suggests that Nick Aldis shadowed Petey Williams to produce the AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross match on Friday’s show.

In addition, Robert Roode also worked as a backstage producer with Jamie Noble. Roode produced some backstage segments including the United States Title Match featuring Austin Theory vs. Rey Mysterio.

Moreover, WWE reportedly made some internal revisions in order to keep the United States Title change a well-guarded secret.

Mysterio dethroned Theory to win the United States Championship after replacing Santos Escobar in the title match. Escobar was injured by Theory ahead of the match.
