Backstage News On The Dissatisfaction Over The Rousey vs. Baszler SummerSlam 2023 Match

At this past Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam 2023 pay-per-view event, Shayna Baszler choked out Ronda Rousey in an MMA Rules match.

As we previously reported here on eWn, there was a lot of dissatisfaction backstage over how the match played out, including the audience not being invested in the bout.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, both Rousey and Baszler blamed creative for refusing to run with their ideas. With that being said, the creative team blamed the two women for only agreeing to do their ideas. Due to this, no one was happy with how the match came off.
