WWE Still Believes Not Booking Cody Rhodes To Win At WrestleMania 39 Was The Right Decision

Fans still talk about Cody Rhodes’ loss to Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39.

Since then, Reigns has continued The Bloodline storyline with The Usos while Rhodes feuded with Brock Lesnar. 

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE officials still stand by the decision to have Rhodes lose to Reigns. 

“Those in WWE are strong on the idea that growth is proof that the decision not to put the title on Rhodes at that time was the right one, and in theory, someday they will,” Meltzer wrote.
