Ric Flair Shares His Fitness Plans For His 75th Birthday

On a recent edition of the “This Past Weekend” podcast, Ric Flair discussed his plans to keep up with his fitness when he turns 75. Flair celebrates his 75th birthday next February. The Nature Boy said,

“I want to bench press 225 five times and I want to do the 500 free squats in 14 minutes again. It’s very doable, but you have to do it.

Flair then described a workout routine he used to do involving a deck of playing cards. The Joker card represented 20 reps, face cards were ten reps and standard numbers represented however many reps were on the card.

Flair would flip a card, do an exercise according to the number of reps that card would represent, and then move on.

Flair said he could do 457 of each different exercise back in the day but not anymore.
