Samantha Irvin Names Her Favorite Superstars To Announce

Samantha Irvin may be engaged to Ricochet but it’s a different NXT alum who tops her list of favorite stars to announce.

During a recent edition of “Busted Open Radio,” the RAW announcer was asked about her favorite Superstars and named the Brawling Brutes’ Butch as her all-time favorite. She said,

“The first person that comes to my mind is Butch. That’s the first person that I’m just like, ‘Oh, Butch has a match? Oh okay, it’s about to be crazy tonight.’ From the minute he comes out until he leaves, he is locked in. His eyes are locked in. Physically, he’s locked in.”

Irvin also mentioned Imperium as a favorite of hers and joked that she and GUNTHER are a couple when discussing announcing the faction. She said,

“Well, you know they keep couples together, so they had to keep me and GUNTHER together. That’s what I’m telling people. I love Imperium, and also the whole thing with [saying Ludwig Kaiser’s name] and how it all sounds.” 

Irvin debuted in WWE in 2021 and served as the SmackDown announcer from 2022 to 2023 before being moved to RAW as part of this year’s draft.
