Natalya Wants To See Charlotte Flair Be “Super Vulnerable” On TV

WWE Superstar Natalya hopes that fans get to see a different side to Charlotte Flair after years of ‘the Queen’ being presented as close-to-unbeatable.

Since arriving in WWE, Flair has consistently been portrayed as one of the most dominant female Superstars of all time, which has made her the most decorated champion ever.

Speaking to “Sportskeeda,” Natalya shared her hope that fans will soon get to see a more vulnerable side of her fellow multi-generational Superstar. She said,

“I would love to one day to see Charlotte in the role of being super vulnerable. When you talk about weaknesses … I don’t really look at Charlotte and think ‘wow, she’s got a lot of weaknesses,’ [but from a fan perspective] I think the one thing we haven’t seen from Charlotte is being very, very vulnerable and I think there’s something very character-driven about being vulnerable and I know it’s not easy for everyone to go to that place.

“She’s the most decorated Women’s Champion of all time but what would it be like from the audience’s point of view for you to be very, very vulnerable? I haven’t seen her knocked down on her ass.”

Natalya and Flair do have a history, with the Canadian being one of the first women to challenge Flair upon becoming WWE Women’s Champion in 2016.

The following year, Flair would dethrone Natalya to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship, ending the Canadian’s only reign with the title.

Flair will challenge for the WWE Women’s Universal Championship this Saturday at WWE Summerslam 2023.
