Injury Update On Thunder Rosa

Last August, Thunder Rosa announced that she was dealing with an injury and couldn’t defend the AEW Women’s Title. 

It was later revealed to be a back injury, with the promotion introducing an interim title at All Out. Later, Jamie Hayter defeated Toni Storm to win the title at AEW Full Gear. Hayter later became the true champion before Storm won it back at this year’s Double or Nothing. 

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that “Thunder Rosa has been back in the ring regularly training with Shoichi Funaki in San Antonio for her return.”
