During the latest episode of his “Kurt Angle Show,” legendary WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle expressed his belief that Roman Reigns has the potential to surpass John Cena’s record of sixteen World Heavyweight Championship reigns in WWE.
Angle praised Cena’s impressive career but also pointed out that Reigns could achieve even greater heights in the wrestling world. However, Angle also speculated that Reigns might be on the path to Hollywood, which could potentially prevent him from breaking Cena’s record. He said,
“John Cena, he was maybe two or three years in the business by this time, and here he is on top. I mean, this kid picked it up very quickly, and he had arguably the best career in WWE history. He did win sixteen World Heavyweight Titles in WWE specifically. No one’s ever done that. He’s (Reigns) going to break the record. If he doesn’t skip and go to Hollywood and become a movie star, which I think he’s going to do.”
