WWE News – Saturday Night’s Main Event, The Miz Praises Dominik, Sonya Deville

WWE is set to return to the Nassau Coliseum for a Saturday Night’s Main Event show on September 9, as local advertisements are currently promoting the upcoming event. The original Saturday Night’s Main Event show was held on May 10, 1985.

Local footage is reportedly using vintage clips of Hulk Hogan and Mr. T from the 1980s shows.

Bianca Belair, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, Charlotte Flair, Asuka, AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, Sheamus, Bayley, and The Street Profits are currently advertised for the show.

During a recent appearance on “Busted Open Radio,” The Miz discussed the “youth movement” currently happening in WWE and how the efforts of younger talents motivate him to be a better performer. The Miz said of Dominik Mysterio,

“You look at Dominik and what he’s doing right now, it’s impeccable. He can’t even get a word out. That’s how much heat he has, and so, it is fun to watch. It motivates me.”

Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships last night on WWE RAW.

Following the match, Sonya Deville shared a photo with Triple H and Green, writing,

“8 years. 8 years we have been waiting for this photo. @ImChelseaGreen Thank you @TripleH AND NEW”

The victory marks the first title win for Deville in WWE.
