Backstage News On How Impact Wrestling Officials Viewed Nick Aldis During His Latest Run, More
As we reported on Monday here on eWn, Nick Aldis has parted ways with Impact Wrestling after agreeing to a short-term deal earlier this year. While Aldis is currently a free agent, WWE is said to be interested in using him as a producer and possibly in a wrestling role.
According to a report from Pwinsider, several sources in Impact Wrestling gave Aldis high praise during his latest stint with the company. The run was specifically designed to have a beginning, a middle and an end, and Aldis did everything that was asked of him.
Steve Maclin, who was pulled from his Slammiversary 2023 match due to an injury, is being monitored by the company. The current hope is that he’ll be cleared to return sooner rather than later.
