NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion and AEW/ROH star Eddie Kington made his G1 Climax debut on July 16th by beating former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi.
He went over after hitting a Northern Lights Bomb, earning his first two points in the G1 Climax 33 C Block standings.
Kingston noted that after his big victory, he wants another match with Shingo and hopes AEW President Tony Khan books it.
Kingston’s next match in the G1 Climax 33 tournament will be on July 19th against EVIL.
