Pwinsider is reporting that Drew McIntyre has joined the cast of ‘The Killer’s Game.’
As previously reported, McIntyre teamed with Matt Riddle to defeat Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci on Monday’s episode of WWE RAW. After the match, McIntyre told Riddle to go after Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER because he wouldn’t be there next week.
Per the report, McIntyre is missing the show as he has been cast in the action film. The movie stars Dave Bautista and Ice Cube.
Deadline wrote the following for the film’s synopsis:
“Based on Jay Bonansinga’s novel, the film is written by Rand Ravich and Simon Kinberg, with recent rewrites by James Coyne. The film follows veteran assassin Joe Flood (Bautista), who is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and authorizes a kill on himself to avoid the pain that is destined to follow. After ordering the kill, he finds out that he was misdiagnosed and must then fend off the army of former colleagues trying to kill him.”
