Wheeler Yuta Suffers Hamstring Injury On AEW Dynamite

Writing in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided a concerning update on Wheeler Yuta, disclosing that he suffered a hamstring injury in his match against Kenny Omega on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. He noted,

“Wheeler Yuta suffered a hamstring injury in the match with Omega on 7/5. Right now the belief is that it’s not a full tear and that he will be able to return on 7/19 for Blood & Guts in Boston”

Meltzer added that if Yuta has indeed torn his hamstring, then he could be out for up to six months, depending on the grade of the tear and injury.

Per the latest official announcement, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Konusuke Takeshita, Claudio Castagnoli, and a mystery partner will wage war against The Elite and a mystery partner of their choosing at AEW Blood and Guts.
