Update On Ronda Rousey’s WWE Contract Status

At last night’s Money in the Bank 2023 pay-per-view event, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler lost to Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez after Shayna shockingly attacked Rousey and choked her out.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Ronda Rousey has a “hard-out” on her deal. He also revealed that WWE had to push back original plans for the two MMA stars due to Rousey suffering a broken arm earlier this year. Therefore, WWE had to rush the break-up at last night’s event.

Rousey apparently wants to give back to her longtime friend for helping her break into professional wrestling, and all signs point to the two women facing off at SummerSlam.
