Cody Rhodes Stands Tall Over Dominik Mysterio At WWE Money In The Bank 2023

A raucous London crowd sang ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes to the ring at Saturday’s Money in the Bank 2023 pay-per-view event, as he prepared to battle Dominik Mysterio.

Mysterio, flanked by the WWE Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, tried to escape Cody multiple times and got heat on him with some assistance from ‘Mami’ playing the perfect “chicken**** heel.” However, Rhodes finally hit the Cody Cutter, followed by the Cross Rhodes, to get the 1-2-3.

The crowd was rampant throughout the match, as we heard “Cody Rhodes” chants set to Boney M’s Daddy Cool, while Dom was also met with chants of being a “w****r,” among other typical British insults.

Notably, Rhodes removed his cast during the match, while Brock Lesnar did not make an appearance following the match.
