GUNTHER Retains Against Matt Riddle At WWE Money In The Bank 2023, McIntyre Returns
During Saturday’s WWE Money in the Bank 2023 pay-per-view event, GUNTHER defeated Matt Riddle to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Although Riddle took the fight to GUNTHER, the leader of Imperium locked The OG Bro in a submission hold to finish things off in style.
Following the match, Drew McIntyre marched to the ring and stood face-to-face with GUNTHER.
The irate Ring General disrespected The Scottish Psychopath by shoving him in front of the sold-out O2 Arena. This caused McIntyre to blast GUNTHER with a vicious headbutt and Claymore Kick. The crowd went wild as McIntyre posed with the WWE Intercontinental Title in the middle of the ring.
