Backstage Update On Britt Baker Being Pulled From Wednesday’s Episode Of AEW Dynamite

Adam Cole and Britt Baker, who are a real-life couple, were pulled from scheduled AEW matches this week.

Cole was pulled from his match with Tom Lawlor at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II pay-per-view event hours before the show started.

Baker was pulled from her Owen Hart Cup Tournament match with Ruby Soho on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. The match has been booked for next week’s show. Fightful reported today that Baker’s match was pulled from the show just 20 minutes before it went live.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Cole had “a fever and severe chills” while Baker was very sick, likely with the same bug that Cole had.
