Kenny Omega Injury Update Coming Out Of AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II

Kenny Omega lost the IWGP US Championship to Will Ospreay at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II pay-per-view event. 

Their first match was earlier this year at Wrestle Kingdom 17, where Omega defeated Ospreay in a match to capture the IWGP United States Championship.

They worked a match for over 40 minutes that featured a series of interferences from Don Callis. During the bout, Ospreay hit a Tiger Driver and Omega landed right on his head. 

On today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez reported that Omega is doing “OK” after the scary bump. It’s unknown whether or not he was checked out by doctors or took x-rays.
