Roman Reigns Returns + More Set For WWE SmackDown Next Week

Friday night’s opening segment and main event of WWE SmackDown featured more compelling developments in The Bloodline Saga, and Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns is set to return to Friday Night SmackDown next week in Louisville, Kentucky, as we will witness the next chapter unfold in what is truly one of the greatest stories ever told in the history of professional wrestling/sports entertainment.

Also during Friday night’s episode of SmackDown, a series of tag teams approached Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn backstage, vying for an opportunity at the titles. In response to the demand, Adam Pearce stepped in and revealed a major development. He announced that next week’s episode of SmackDown will feature a tag-team gauntlet match. The winning team will become the new number one contenders for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn’s tag-team championships.

Additionally, next week’s show will feature the “Grayson Waller Effect” with special guest Charlotte Flair, who returned on this week’s episode of SmackDown to confront Asuka during her new WWE Women’s Championship presentation.

Finally, following Karrion Kross & Scarlett’s attack on AJ Styles on Friday night’s show, next week’s episode will feature AJ Styles and Michin in mixed tag team action against Kross and Scarlett.
