Edge Being Advertised For 8/18 Tapings Of WWE SmackDown In Toronto

Edge is being advertised for the August 18 TV tapings of WWE SmackDown, set to emanate from the Scotiabank Arena in his hometown of Toronto, Canada. On the August 22, 2022, episode of Monday Night RAW in Toronto, the Rated-R Superstar defeated Damian Priest.

While Edge was previously contemplating retiring in Toronto this year, he has since stated that he still has some fuel left in the tank. The WWE Hall of Famer was last seen in action on the May 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he lost to AJ Styles in a Triple Threat Match (also including Rey Mysterio) in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament.
