In the latest development concerning the ongoing legal battle between Major League Wrestling (MLW) and WWE, Pwinsider has issued an update. According to their report, WWE lodged a motion yesterday urging for the rescheduling of the impending hearing for the lawsuit from June 15 to July 20.
Sources indicate that WWE justified their request by citing the unavailability of their legal representatives on the originally designated date of June 15. It is reported that both parties have reached an agreement on the proposed new hearing date. However, it should be noted that the court’s approval of this motion is still pending.
It is worth mentioning that MLW had previously filed a revised version of their initial lawsuit against WWE back in March. The accusations leveled against WWE by MLW primarily revolve around alleged violations of the Sherman Act pertaining to anti-trust practices and other related matters.
