Abrahams has accused the company of discriminatory actions and retaliation following her outspoken criticism of what she perceived as “racist scripts.” Pwinsider has now provided new information on the matter.
According to court records from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, WWE is obligated to present their response to the allegations by June 26. The court has set this deadline as part of the legal proceedings.
Aside from Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon, several other individuals have been named as defendants in the lawsuit. These include Christine Lubrano, the Senior Vice President of Creative Writing Operations, former Creative Team member Chris Dunn, Ryan Callahan, creative team member Jen Pepperman, and former Creative Team member Mike Heller.
The lawsuit filed by Britney Abrahams alleges that the defendants engaged in discriminatory conduct and retaliatory measures after she voiced her objections to what she considered racially biased content.
