Mick Foley On How His Career Would Have Been Without The Undertaker

What would Mick Foley’s career look like had The Undertaker never been a part of it?

After debuting as Mankind in 1996, The Undertaker was Foley’s first major feud in the World Wrestling Federation, and the pair feuded off and on for years.

The most iconic collision between the two occurred at King of the Ring 1998 which saw Foley being hurled off, and later through, the Hell in a Cell structure.

Speaking on his “Foley is Pod” show, Mick mused that he would have been remembered simply as a ‘good hand’ had the match with Undertaker not elevated him. He said,

“I’ll go out of my way to thank him. I think I’d be a respected hand [without him.]”

Foley added that ahead of King of the Ring 1998, he expected to slip down the card following the match, but that changed when he learned of the finish. He said,

“I had to do a double take when he goes over the finish and we were off to the races brother. So, thank you Undertaker for everything you’ve done for me.”
