AJ Styles’ WWE Raw Appearance Was A Last-Second Creative Decision

Seth Rollins beat AJ Styles to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title tournament finals this past Saturday at Night of Champions.

On Monday’s Raw, Rollins and Styles did a promo segment in the opening segment, leading to them defeating Damian Priest & Finn Balor in the main event.

According to PWInsider.com, Styles was not originally slated for Raw. 

“Styles was not originally slated for Raw and actually flew home upon returning to the United States on Sunday,” the report read. 

Speaking of Rollins, after missing the last two weeks of Raw due to filming commitments for Marvel Studios’ Captain America: New World Order, he will be on the show full-time going forward.
