Liv Morgan’s Role In Upcoming Movie Is Up In The Air After Suffering Recent Injury

As previously reported, Liv Morgan is out of action with an injury, believed to be a shoulder injury that may require surgery.

The injury has resulted in Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez being stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Titles. On the May 29th edition of RAW, new champions will be crowned by the winners of a Fatal 4-Way match featuring Rodriguez & a mystery partner, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, Bayley & IYO SKY, and Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Morgan’s role in the upcoming movie that is based on Mildred Burke is still up in the air. 

“Morgan had a shoulder injury that ended up worse than originally expected. There was word that she may require surgery, but that wasn’t a given and no word how that affects her planned role in a movie on Mildred Burke,” Meltzer wrote.
