WWE is looking at signing a top free agent and a star from NJPW.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Richard Holliday and NJPW’s Tama Tonga are on WWE’s radar.
The former MLW star announced in December that he’d been diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma in September before he announced in May he was in remission.
Tonga has been rumored to have been of interest to WWE for a while but hasn’t signed with them just yet.
“I don’t know if they will be signed but there has been talk internally in WWE of late about Richard Holliday because of the story of his beating cancer and in Tama Tonga, who there has been talk about for some time,” Meltzer wrote.
