CM Punk is once again scheduled to make his return to AEW on the debut episode of Collision on Saturday, June 17.
Punk had been at odds with AEW, leading to him being pulled from the Collision promotional material last week due to a miscommunication over Ace Steel, who was part of the All Out 2022 brawl, being brought back as Punk was upset that Steel could not physically be at the TV tapings and would have had to work remotely.
Whether Punk would be on Collision’s premiere had been up in the air until now.
Both sides have resolved their recent issues, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer and PWInsider Elite.
“The belief is that CM Punk will debut on 6/17 at the first Collision show in Chicago and that the issues have been settled. Unless things change, Chicago will be announced tonight. How the announcement of Punk’s return will be handled is unknown,” Meltzer tweeted.
