The trend of WWE hosting Premium Live Events outside of the continental United States is likely to continue in the months and years to come.

Last September, WWE hosted Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales, and hosted Elimination Chamber this past February in Montreal, Canada.

Last week, WWE traveled to the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico to host Backlash which proved to be a hit with fans.

In the “Wrestling Observer Newsletter,” it is reported that WWE is “more serious” about hosting big events outside the United States, especially if the money is right.

It was reported earlier this week that WWE is considering a PLE in Australia, and the Observer notes that Perth is the most likely choice.

WWE officials have reportedly traveled to Perth to discuss a future event with local government officials.

WWE’s next Premium Live Event is Night of Champions which will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

This July, WWE will travel to London, England for Money in the Bank, the first time the event has taken place outside the U.S.
