World Heavyeweight Title Tournament Matches Announced For WWE SmackDown

The two World Heavyweight Championship quarter-final matches that will take place on this week’s SmackDown have been confirmed.

During this Friday’s episode of the blue brand, Edge will face Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles, while U.S. Champion Austin Theory will take on Sheamus and Bobby Lashley.

The winners of these matches will face off later in the show, with the winner facing Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Rollins advanced to the finals by defeating Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura, before besting Finn Balor in the semi-final match.
