Austin Theory Reacts To ‘Big Bob Lashley’ Being Dropped Again, Belair Praises SKY

At Saturday night’s WWE Backlash 2023 pay-per-view event, Austin Theory defeated Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed to retain his United States Championship.

Speaking on the post-Backlash edition of WWE’s ‘The Bump,’ Theory reacted to his win. He said,

“I told everybody that I was gonna walk out of Backlash still the greatest United States Champion. Look at the timeline I’ve been on as United States Champion. I beat up the ‘Rated-R Superstar’ Edge, let’s not forget that. I dominated the Elimination Chamber. I beat the ‘GOAT’ John Cena… and tonight, once again, ‘big Bob Lashley’ got dropped again, but what’s new about that?”

Theory added, “Sure, he’s [Bronson Reed] a wrecking ball… But the thing about him is he’s gotta learn a little bit more.”

During the same post-Backlash edition of WWE’s ‘The Bump,’ RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair gave some high praise to IYO SKY following their match. She said,

“I said before, [SKY is] dangerous. She’s unpredictable. She’s amazing. She’s one of a kind. And she went out there and she proved that…She made herself tonight. She let everybody know what her name was. Everybody found out what I already know. I knew IYO was a star, so they were chanting it, but I couldn’t let it get in my head.”
