Mike Chioda Expects In-Ring Return For Shane McMahon

During the latest edition of his Monday Mailbag podcast for AdFreeShows, former WWE referee Mike Chioda addressed the possibility of a potential in-ring return for the injured Shane McMahon.

McMahon made a surprise return at WrestleMania 39 (Night Two) and was supposed to face The Miz in an impromptu match, but ended up suffering a torn quad injury just seconds into the bout. The injury caused Shane to undergo surgery.

Chioda said, “Shane O’Mac will be back in that ring, brother. He’s working out hard right now. He’s gonna be back. I wish him a speedy recovery. I felt bad and I seen he couldn’t get back up. I said, ‘No, this is not a work.’ He wouldn’t come back and… I just wish him a speedy recovery and all of the best.”
