After it was reported on Tuesday that a new WWE edict would be enforced, it has now been revealed to be delayed.
WWE employees had been ordered to return to work full-time at company headquarters in Stamford, CT starting May 1. This is something the majority of employees hadn’t been doing since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The news was emailed by WWE CEO Nick Khan on Tuesday night. This led to many in the company being upset by this as they were mostly upset with the timing and needed to make changes to their routine quickly.
Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics reports that the start date has been delayed:
“Nick Khan sent an email to staff last night pushing the start date for this to Monday, May 8, rather than May 1.”
