Kazuchika Okada Recruits Tomohiro Ishii For Title Match At NJPW Wrestling Dontaku

Kazuchika Okada has found his first teammate for his scheduled NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Title match at next month’s NJPW Wrestling Dontaku event.

According to NJPW1972.com, Ishii appealed to join Okada at a recent non-televised live event.

Okada and Ishii still require one more partner for their upcoming match. The trio will face the reigning champions Minoru Suzuki, El Desperado, and Ren Narita at the upcoming event.

After Strong Style retained their NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag team Championships recently on the Road to Sakura Genesis, Ren Narita called out Kazuchika Okada to challenge with his choice of partners at Dontaku. The challenge was accepted, and after Tomohiro Ishii made an appeal at a recent non televised live event, one of the Rainmaker’s partners is official! Okada and Ishii will do battle at Dontaku, but who will join them?

NJPW Wrestling Dontaku takes place on May 3 at the Fukuoka Kokusai Center in Fukuoka, Japan.
