Konnan: Tony Khan’s Anger At WWE Is 100% Real

Tony Khan’s fiery responses to WWE are more than just for show, according to Konnan.

During the “Keepin It 100” podcast, Konnan was asked about Dragon Lee signing with WWE immediately after he and Dralistico dethroned FTR as AAA World Tag Team Champions.

Konnan responded by claiming Khan was seriously angry about the decision, and that his issues with WWE are very genuine. He said,

“I can confirm to you 100 percent [Tony Khan’s anger at WWE] is real and he was really pissed off when Dragon Lee beat FTR.”

Despite Khan’s apparent “anger,” Konnan added that the AEW/ROH President was on-board with him inducting Rey Mysterio into the WWE Hall of Fame. He said,

“He has Pentagon and Fenix and Taya [Valkyrie] and he’s got people under contract that we use, that literally started in AAA. I get along with Tony but I did tell him that I’m gonna [induct Rey Mysterio in the Hall of Fame] and he said, ‘Yeah, very good, very logical,’ because he knows we’re boys.”
