Backstage News On Rumored AEW Saturday Show, Soft Roster Split
– ADVERTISMENT –

It was previously reported here on eWn that AEW has been promoting a live, televised event for Saturday, July 8 in Regina, Saskatchewan. According to reports, this will be for a new weekly show. Moreover, AEW is also planning a soft roster split to let talent that doesn’t get along work separate shows.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that AEW’s original plan is to hold a two-hour show with similar star power to that of Dynamite. The matter has been discussed for months, but it’s still not 100% final yet.

The taping in Regina has a 7:00 PM CT start time, suggesting a time slot of either 7:30 or 8 PM EST, as most start times are usually advertised at least half an hour before filming initiates.

It is unknown if the show will air on TBS or TNT, but considering it’s Saturday, the sports show is likely to air on TNT.

AEW reportedly wants to begin airing the new show in June, but no additional TV taping dates on Saturdays have been announced yet.
