Latest Update On Don Callis’ Injury Status

Don Callis suffered an injury when taking a bump on AEW Dynamite last month, resulting in him being busted open when falling on a lighting rig. 

He suffered a cut above his right eye and needed several stitches to close up. Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Don also suffered some other damage. 

“Don Callis’ injury, besides the deep and long cut on his forehead above the right eye from falling into the lighting stand after taking a punch from Jon Moxley backstage, also included cuts inside his mouth and a few damaged teeth and some neck whiplash. The neck problems he’s had for 29 years from wrestling, dating back to a match in South Africa,” Meltzer wrote.
