Brian Cage is staying with AEW.
Cage originally signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2020. It had been reported that Cage’s deal with AEW expired at midnight following ROH Supercard of Honor, where The Embassy (Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona) retained their Six-Man Tag Team Titles over AR Fox, Blake Christian, and Metalik.
He had been working without a contract while the two sides continued to talk. AEW had offered him a long-term deal and attempted to get him to sign a short-term extension, but he hadn’t put pen to paper until now.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported today that Cage has re-signed with the company:
Fightful Select has learned that ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champion Brian Cage officially re-signed with AEW this week.
