Backstage Note On Eric Young’s WWE Status

It was reported back in December that Eric Young’s contract with Impact Wrestling had expired, marking the end of his second tenure with the promotion.

Fightful Select is now reporting that Young is currently under contract with WWE, having re-signed in November. He is yet to appear backstage or on-screen at any event.

Young was recruited back to the company a few months after Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque was appointed as Chief Content Officer of WWE.

It is to be noted that Impact was made aware of Young finishing up with them by October. The former leader of SAnitY was written off Impact Wrestling after being ‘murdered’ on-screen by Deaner in a takeover of the Violent By Design stable.
