Bron Breakker Turns Heel, Attacks Carmelo Hayes

The heel turns in WWE continue this week.

Less than 24 hours after Brock Lesnar shockingly turned heel and attacked Cody Rhodes to end RAW, Bron Breakker did the same to Carmelo Hayes on this week’s edition of WWE NXT.

In the main event segment, Hayes and Trick Williams came to the ring to celebrate Hayes’ NXT Championship win at NXT Stand & Deliver. This brought out Breakker and the two men showed respect to each other. Breakker noted that while he doesn’t know what is next for him, he was proud to have passed the torch in a similar way to how Tomasso Ciampa passed it to him.

The two men hugged it out and Breakker went to leave the ring. At that point, Carmelo called Bron back for a handshake. Out of nowhere, Breakker hit Hayes with a brutal clothesline and a spear. The show went off the air with Breakker telling Hayes “I’ll be seeing you.”
