WWE WrestleMania 39 Match Was Initially Planned To Go Longer

Edge beat Finn Balor inside Hell in a Cell at WWE WrestleMania 39 on Sunday night.

Throughout it, Balor was busted open when Edge tossed a ladder at him, and it triggered a huge cut on the top of Balor.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the match was prepared to go even longer than it did, once Balor was busted open throughout it, they hurried through the remainder of the match and just worked another 10 minutes.

This might have described why there was a lot time in between the Hell in a Cell match and the centerpiece.
