Backstage Update On Drew McIntyre’s WWE Offer Expiring This Year

News broke on Friday night that Drew McIntyre’s WWE offer is up within the next year.

Fightful Select offered an upgrade on his offer by noting they were informed McIntyre’s offer is up “within the next 9 months.”

Relating to the previous report that McIntyre and WWE were not near a brand-new offer, they were informed that McIntyre made it clear he was going to wait till much closer to the offer’s expiration date to sign anything. He feels there are numerous aspects to think about. The report continued,

McIntyre is in fact among numerous agreements that are set to end within WWE by the end of 2024. After the development of AEW in 2019, WWE signed lots of skill to 5-year agreements that year. Much of them wound up being cut and revived throughout the pandemic.

WWE is stated to be excited to keep McIntyre, and they wish to have talks with him later on this year.
