Hiroshi Tanahashi Offers To Replace Will Ospreay At Impact x NJPW Multiverse United Event

All signs point to Hiroshi Tanahashi replacing the injured Will Ospreay at the upcoming Impact x NJPW Multiverse United show on Thursday, March 30. 

Ospreay is slated to wrestle to face Impact’s Mike Bailey. However, Ospreay suffered a shoulder injury earlier this month and has pulled out of recent NJPW events. 

During today’s NJPW New Japan Cup Final event, Tanahashi said he would step up as a ‘pinch hitter’ and be a substitute for Ospreay. It should be noted that an official announcement has yet to be made.
