Throughout a current Q&A session at Planet Comic Con, IWGP Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone hinted that she may be thinking about appearing at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door crossover occasion. She stated,

“When is it? It’s in June? Okay, what day? [Fan is not sure of the date] When to reveal up then, I do not understand. Anyone understand the date? June is up until now (away). It might be open. July may be open. I got ta get that call. I got ta get that telephone call from Unc.“

The Scotiabank Centre in Toronto will play host to the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view on Sunday, June 25.
