A recent video posted by Mercedes Mone on her YouTube channel shows her meeting AEW wrestler Kenny Omega at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17, which took place on January 4.
Mercedes Mone made her highly anticipated New Japan debut at the event, issuing a challenge to KAIRI for the IWGP Women’s Championship at the event. Meanwhile, Kenny Omega defeated Will Ospreay in a blockbuster match to win the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship at the event.
The former Sasha Banks has since defeated KAIRI to become the new IWGP Women’s Champion at NJPW Battle in the Valley this past Saturday.
