Two-time AEW World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk was in attendance at NJPW Battle In The Valley in San Jose, California on Saturday night.
The event saw KENTA defeat Fred Rosser for the Strong Openweight Championship. KENTA beat Rosser after a controversial interference from Juice Robinson. The timely interference from the AEW wrestler allowed KENTA to hit Rosser with the Go 2 Sleep, the finisher that’s synonymous with CM Punk.
KENTA later took to Twitter to note Punk’s attendance at Battle In The Valley. He wrote,
“I heard that my biggest fan in the world came to arena last night. I hope he enjoyed REAL Go2Sleep.”
